Wilber D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden

The Wilber D. May Arboretum and Botanical Garden is a Washoe County facility located in Rancho San Rafel.  The Arboretum has over 4,600 plant species on display.   And they have expansion plans.    Luke Sorenson is a horticulturist at the Arboetum who will be telling us about the facility.

Cambodia

Susan Glasson is a member of Tahoe - Douglas Rotary Club.  She has been to Cambodia numerious times.  Her trips to Cambodia have reselted in a Rotary project working the Rural School Projects to construct a school.   Susan will be telling us about the project and Rotary's involvement.

The National Judicial Collegeds

Aviva Abramovsky is the President of the National Judicial College, which is on the UNR camput.   Created more than a half-century ago, at the recommendation of a U.S. Supreme Court justice, The National Judicial College, based in Reno, NV since 1964, remains the only educational institution in the United States that teaches courtroom skills to judges of all types from all over the country, Indian Country and abroad. The categories of judges served by this nonprofit and nonpartisan institution decide more than 95 percent of the cases in the United States.
