Speakers

Dave Gallagher, a member of the Rotary Club of Reno,  helped to fund a Rotary Foundation grant that provided three mobile emergency medical units to Ukraine.    He will be discussing the project with us. 

Chris Sarman is the Washoe County Assessor.   He will be talking about how the propery assessment process works, and the function of the County Assessor's Office. 

Craig Sande is an amateur radio operator (HAM) who is active in the Summits on the Air program.   Craig loads his portable radio equipment into his backpack and climbs different mountain summits.  Once he reaches a summit he pulls his radio equiment out of the backback and starts transmitting.  Craig will be telling us about some of his Summits on the Air adventures. 

Dan served as the Military Joint Task Force Commander directing the Nevada National Guard and other military resources who responded to the Davis Fire.   We will be learning about the role that the Guard played in helping with the fire. 

Tracy Moore is the chief of the Washoe County School District Police Department.   Chief Moore will be discussing with us the functions of the Department, and their role in helping to provide a safe environment for the students, staff, and parents in the WCSD schools. 

Kim Harrell is the Dean of the Technical Sciences Division at Truckee Meadows Community College.  She will be telling us about the programs that TMCC has that prepairs the participants to enter the technical  workforce or to enter the building trades, etc.
