In past years we have had an Angel Tree holiday project for Virginia Palmer. However, this year the project is being provided by a local church group. We also have an ongoing Happy Feet project for the school, but their stock of available shoes for at-risk students has dwindled and it is time to re-stock.
Kohl's in Carson City has been working with Carolyn Abend and can offer us discounted shoes to purchase. Most likely the purchase will be made in January after we determine our spending limit.
