The program for last week was Rotary Membership by Mark Schauss, the District 5190 Membership Chair.  He discussed the three important areas of recruitment, engagement and retention.

The first step in recruitment is simply to ask or bring a person to a meeting.  Once a person joins, it is important to engage and involve them immediately.  Our Rotary club, though small, is more like family.  We enjoy working on projects with together and are there to provide support for one another when it is needed.

Retired members are an important source of counseling for the budding entrepreneurs.  Those years of experience are a valuable resource.

Each one of us is part of the Membership Committee and can play a part in recruiting new members and making the club more interesting, engaging and vibrant over time.  See you all Friday!
