For more than 20 years, Rotarian Susan Glasson has organized group trips to Cambodia. Her recent trips have centered on “Karma Yoga,” the practice of selfless service. Participants support local communities by delivering school supplies and other needed items, providing hygiene products to women, and hosting an afternoon of activities for teens in JWOC’s Better Futures program.
Susan is now working with the Rotary Club of Tahoe-Douglas to build a school in rural Cambodia through the Cambodia Landmine Museum’s Rural School Village Program. During her presentation, she shared memorable photographs and stories illustrating the meaningful connections her groups have made with the people of Cambodia.
