In the words of Doug Hill, "I hope all are preparing for 'The Great Elysian Fishing Safari' Health Food Consumption and Purification of Body and Soul Event in the Elysian Fields on MLK Weekend."
Convoy Meeting Time:
High Noon on Friday the 13th of January, 2023 at The Hill House, 5010 Pleasantview Dr., Sparks, NV. You may "Safari" to Ely on your own if this schedule doesn't meet your needs.
Luggage, gear, people, chairs and beverages for the caravan to Ely will be distributed. Bring a lawn chair to be comfortable on the ice (Tip: an insulated seat pad or sheep skin makes it even more comfortable).
Lodging:
Doug has reserved thirteen rooms at the Jail House Motel for participants. You can call The Jail House Motel (775-289-3033) and tell them you are taking one of the rooms Doug Hill has reserved. Let them know if you require a ground floor room.
Miscellaneous:
If you don't presently have a Nevada Fishing License, "One Day" fishing licenses can be purchased at The Sportsman or you can purchase in Reno ahead of time. You can also purchase a license online at https://nevada.licensing.kalkomey.com/licenses
If you need Safari Gear, we stop at the Farm and Ranch store in Fallon. They are High Fashion Outfitter.
