The 2026 Reno Sunrise Rotary Club's Happy Feet Program is currently underway. Our goal is to provide a stock of shoes, socks, and underclothing for children in need at Huffaker Elementary School.

Last week, Charlie, Chelsea, and I shopped for socks and underwear. This week, Charlie, Chelsea, and Dave purchased children's shoes, taking advantage of a 50% off sale. This discount allowed us to double the number of shoes we are able to provide to the school.

He spent most of his time giving us a time line of Rotary's involvement with polio eradication.

Currently polio still exists in Afghanistan and Pakistan.
