Tracy Moore is the chief of the Washoe County School District Police Department.   Chief Moore discussed the functions of the Department, and their role in helping to provide a safe environment for the students, staff, and parents in the WCSD schools.

Cara rang the bell for her mother who is still going strong at age 94!

 

During Ed's travels overseas, he managed to visit a club in Italy.  He highly recommends attending "Carnivale Italy" from the vantage point of Hotel President.  He rang the bell in memory of the trip.

Martha Greene was still looking to fill spots for the Huffaker Elementary Reading Week.  It only requires volunteers to read for 15 minutes mid-day.  Please contact Martha if you are interested.

Jon Greene informed us that the Eddy House Clothing Drive (underwear primarily) is going very well.  The club's charitable foundation will be matching the dollar amount of expenditures (formal approval to take place February 26).  If you purchased underclothing after the meeting, you can get it to Jon at the club's social February 28 for delivery to the Eddy House.
