We had an excellent turnout for the Fantastic Friday Social on August 26.  It was held in the back room of the Mellow Fellow Pub.  The food was excellent and everyone enjoyed a wide range of beverages.  The social was arranged by Nick Connell (thankyou Nick!), but he was out of town on work-related business and sadly couldn't attend.  Nick is our Social Director, so if you have some good ideas, pass them along.

Everyone who hasn't done so, please send me a photograph of you in childhood.  It has been incredibly fun trying to guess the member's identity from their childhood photograph.

Just a reminder, we won't be having a meeting on Friday September 2 due to Labor Day.  The Purple Parrot Crew will meet as usual at the Atlantis.  Our next meeting will be on September 9.
