Mr. Wellinghoff is from Reno, Nevada and recently relocated back to Reno from Berkley, California. He has substantial knowledge and experience in policies impacting energy generation and energy grid security. Mr. Wellinghoff discussed the inevitable transition from energy derived from fossil fuels to renewable sources like wind and solar. He brought to light the novel thought of electric vehicles ultimately having the capability of providing energy back to homes and businesses. He demonstrated that the evolution of alternative energy sources is currently the most cost effective system for future energy generation and will ultimately assist in America reducing CO2 gases.
