Myra Yeargan and Tawnya Robertson, case workers for Washoe County Human Services Agency, spoke to us about their work in foster care.  They described orientation to become a licensed foster or adoptive parent, as well as a the option of being a mentor.  There are 800-1000 children in the Washoe County Human Services System on any given day and more foster families are always needed.

Here are a few images from the ice fishing expedition to Ilipah Reservoir outside Ely, Nevada.  Despite the cold temperatures, everyone had a great time and caught their limit of trout within a few hours.

 

 

 

 

 

Although Reno Sunrise Rotary Club is "DARK" this Friday, many of us will meet at the Purple Parrot, Atlantis Hotel and Casino, 7:00 AM.  So set the alarm clock and join us.

 

Those of us who acted early, registered and bought tickets will be attending the hockey match between Reno Ice Raiders and the Chicago Top Shelf Friday evening,  It should be a fun event!
