Reno Sunrise Rotary partnered with 6 area Lutheran churches by purchasing additional holiday foods for low income households.  Every month the 6 churches distribute a bag of food staples (cereal, mac n' cheese, powdered milk, and cans of tuna, vegetables, fruit, soup and chili) to 84 low income households.  This month Reno Sunrise Rotary added to that apple sauce and sweet potatoes with a $400 grant from our Foundation.  Thrivent Foundation granted funds to purchase hams.  Sunrise Rotarians joined with the members of those congregations to fill the bags to be delivered.  

 

 

 

 

 

Reno Sunrise Rotarians met at John Albrecht's home for our annual holiday party.  It was very enjoyable with excellent food and drink.  Thank John for hosting us for the second year in a row!
