Sheriff Darin Balaam gave us an inside look to the complexities of running the Washoe County Sheriff's Office.  Topics covered included the financial statistics, programmatic goals, personnel training and development, and community interactions.  We are fortunate to have Sheriff Balaam at the helm.

District Governor Stacy Graham is visiting the club this Friday.  She is a fun-loving energetic force.  This is the perfect time for all of us to wear our Rotary-themed shirts and hats.  See you Friday!

Our community service project for September is to assist with the Keep Truckee Meadows Beautiful River Cleanup on Saturday, September 16, from 9 AM to 12 PM.  We will be participating in the Reno Downtown section.  Please refer to the email sent to members from President Lynn regarding signup information.  For those participating, please wear your shirts and hats with the Rotary logos.
