Mary and I had a chance to attend the Fall Festival put on by the Rotary Club of Reno this evening.  It was a very enjoyable event with a good turnout, great food-truck food and beverages.  Congratulations to Rotary Club of Reno for an excellent event!

 

 

 

The September club social was held at Bocce at the Renaissance last Friday.  We had a great time getting caught up and playing bocce, but little did we know that the gals were ringers!  

 

Beckie Bamberger, Janet Basl, and Cara Koeritz were the winning team.  They won by a huge margin over the other two teams.

 

I never did quite get down the proper touch rolling the bocce ball.

Please check your email for a message sent to you by Lynn Clark.  He has worked hard to design Rotary-approved quality fitted tee shirts and hats for club members to purchase.  We have a minimum purchase order of 48 shirts and 24 hats.  Please consider getting more than one tee shirt for yourself and perhaps one for your significant other, kids, etc.  They are quite nice looking and I think you will be proud to wear them at our events and other public venues.
