We had the pleasure of hearing from Olivia Alexander-Leeder with the Northern Nevada Public Health Environmental Health Services Division about how food inspections are performed in our local restaurants. 

 

She took us through the rating system and inspection methodology.  A large part of their work involves educating facility owners and staff how to to improve upon their food delivery processes for the safety of their patrons.
