Several members of the Rotary Club of Reno Sunrise were honored to attend the promotion of Dan Waters from colonel to brigadier general last Friday at the Nevada Air National Guard Army Aviation Support Facility in Stead, Nevada. Waters began his career in 1985 as an enlisted helicopter mechanic. Over the subsequent three decades, he steadily rose through the ranks and was promoted to brigadier general.
The ceremony was impressive and inspiring. Our Rotary club is proud of Waters' career in the Nevada Army Guard.
