Martha and I joined 35 Rotarians (and a few non-Rotarian partners) for a long weekend in Kansas City, KS. The gathering was sponsored by the Rotary Club of E-Global Travelers. I am an associate member of the club.
Friday morning we went to Heart2Heart and assembled 1200 hygiene kits. Friday lunch was at the Rotary Club of Lenexa, and we exchanged a Reno Sunrise banner with Lenexa. Rotary fellowship activities included some nice meals together and visiting some historical locations, museums, etc.
During the gathering the hat was passed and about $2,800 was collected. $500 of it was donated to Heart2Heart, $125 will be used for the E-Rotary Club of Global Travelers Cuba project, and the balance will go to the Global Travelers club foundation.
