Krisopher Dahir, President of the Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza, spoke at our last meeting, November 22. Our club donated $1,000 this year to support their efforts. They still are in debt to Q & D Construction, but fortunately the company is generously donating a large portion of the debt to the project. Monthly staff, insurance and maintenance still runs about $3,000, so there is an ongoing need for support from donors. Please consider supporting the Nevada Veterans Memorial Plaza.
