CARE Chest Presentation by Anne McNulty and Celia Hurtado
Our speakers this morning were from CARE Chest.  Anne McNulty is the Executive Director and Celia Hurtado is an Outreach Coordinator.

The organization was started in 1990 by three pharmacists in order to provide durable medical equipment for those in need.  Since then it has expanded in scope and size, covering not only the Reno/Sparks area, but also the rural areas and Las Vegas.

Now they also provide diabetic testing supplies and most medications, but not pain medications.

Wine Tasting Fundraiser
Ed Basl is now looking for a couple members to join him on a Sunrise committee to turn the small Wine Tasting School from San Gimignano, Italy that he presented last week for 32 people to turn into a larger Reno Sunrise Rotary Fundraising Event for 2026.

The Committee will be looking to expand the ways to raise money for the Club at this event through Silent Auction items and other ways to raise money for donations to worthy causes that Reno Sunrise wants to support. The committee will decide the size of the event, the location for the event, and the costs to put it on, so a fundraising entry price can be decided.

Contact Ed directly by text to 775-741-4151 and let him know that you would like to help out.

Rotary Pigs
